Hey all was just reading the latest Cycle Torque, and noticed alot of talk about the CTP price hikes in NSW, which particularly seem to be aimed at discriminating against learner riders, and just generally robbing motorcycle riders.
Riders Against Bureaucracy is the website of an action group sick of the Government stepping on riders and looking for support. Also can be found on the facebook page -RidersAgainst Bureaucracy- ( I don't use facebook personally).
Now this is obviously a NSW issue, and we are already a state that gets totally screwed over by CTP costing that always includes a pillion even on bikes that cannot carry one or for learner riders who legally cannot take anyone on the back anyway, but support from anyone not in NSW is still appreciated.
If you ARE in NSW and will be affected by this then I'd be especially happy if your willing to throw some support to the website.
Please spread the word and encourage people to really take note, this will hugely effect all new riders trying to get into our hobby/sport and is likely to do damage to the industry, and is just a stepping stone for the government doing even worse.
