Rear Sets or Levers?

Hey all

I got some moola and I was wondering what people thought....

Should I buy a set of pazzos or should i look at getting some new rear sets.

Pazzo's are made like a block from my house so i think I will go with that brand however as for the rear sets i know nothing so recommendation on what type of rearsets would be appreciated

I'd go with rearsets. You already have levers that function well, Pazzos just look better and aren't as huge. They'll still stop the bike and disengage the clutch just as well.

However, a new set of rearsets will change your body position and give you a more aggressive posture. Add a different handlebar that drops you down and forward an inch to make for a whole different riding experience.

Some popular rearset brands are Woodcraft and Rizoma. But Woodcraft are like $200 whereas Rizomas are like $600, so there's a huge difference there. As far as handlebars go I know LSL and Suburban Machinery make compatible bars for us.

Thats a good idea, i'll see what i can do.

EDIT: They won't do group buys, they don't want to undercut their dealers. I ended up buying the levers though, they were only 199 CND which is like 155 USD. Good deal methinks

I agree. In fact I just ordered an FZ1 bar, which I hope will complement the rizomas already on the bike.

sucks about the group buy, but good for getting something cheaper ... post up some pictures of them when you get a chance..

+1 on the rearsets. They are far more expensive and therefor perfect if you have a lump sum of cash to spend.

PAZZO's are not even close to 'rear set expensive' so you could pick up a set almost anytime without leaving as big a dent in the wallet as rear sets would.

My vote is for the Pazzo's. They made the biggest difference for me, as I have small hands.

Well, unfortunately I don't have a camera so no pics but I can highly recommend both the service and the quality. They are bloody marvalous. INstantly notice a comfort difference.

And they are made in BC canada. Watched'em make a few, it was very cool. How can you not trust us canucks to do some damn fine work?

while you've already purchased, my vote for future readers would have been rearsets. OR get the Pazzos for the great deal PLUS a set of OSO2K setback plates
