Rattling sound

Hello. A few 500 miles i changed cam chain (new). And cam chain tensioner (used)
Also made valve adjustments in all vavlves . Nai spark plugs.
I hear a metal sound not like the sound i heard form when my tensioner was bad and chain. I go back with my mechanic and he says ita outside the engine. Not to worry about. Has anyone hear a sound not coming from the engine ? . Because i know he did the job . So i dont know where to look.

If it’s a loose fastener it could be anywhere as sound travels. Are you able to isolate the conditions where the rattle happens?

Above the cylinders. Somewhere inside. It soudn only in certain rpms that where it troubles me. Its outside the engine or inside ?
