R6 Subframe

Ok since i have scrapped the idea of cuttung off the rear tail. Now i have been thinking of fitting either a 07 R1 rar subframe and tail or a 08 R6 subframe and tail.I'm not sure if it can make it to fit. Any suggestions?:thumbup:

I Have thought about the R1 rear as well, but it would take alot of fabricating, unless you went with the cup series tail section.

That's a bold project. But I wouldn't use the R6 subframe unless the goal is to have an R6 tail.

If you just want a different subframe, you're better off making one from scratch.

as I am about to take possesion of a fz cup bike...I will be able to have a little play with that that subframe, etc, to see whether or not something could be fabricated that incorporates a brake light, indicators and number plate...but am guessing that it won't be easy.

Im not much of a doubles rider, having wrecked due to the assholeness of a cager, the thought of having a defenseless passenger getting wacked while on the back of my bike really scares me.

Having plans for an exhaust change, I figured Id see what I could do with a lightened subframe. I cut the ends at an angle to weld a length in there for ridigity and maybe a pipe hanger.

Im thinking an r6 saddle would look really good, with a stubby rear and shortened pipe.

The sub is a little wacked as you can see, but I think with a little persuasion it'll work out nicely, details to follow.
