R6 Mod question

Finally got all my parts for the R6 mod, had a couple of questions regarding the mod.

First I have to to replace a fork cap on one of the R6 forks, reading on previous threads ppl have mentioned it's wise to go to a heaver oil since the FZ6 is heavier, what oil weight do ppl recommend? If it matters I weight about 170lbs with normal clothes on.

Second is there anyone from SD who has done this mod who would be interested in doing it again for few dollars, beer and pizza? I'm pretty intimidated on certain parts of the mod (removing front wheel and bleeding those damn brakes).

I weigh 175 and left it bone stock. Worked great.

Do you know how many miles the R6 forks have on them? You may want to replace the oil if it is old.......

It is actually pretty simple (mind you I did this on an '08 so the brakes are the same as the R6). Removing the front wheel is simple just read some how to's on here. Remember to torque the fork retaining bolts down to specs so you don't crush your fork tubes.

Heavier oil isn't required and isn't recommended on R6 forks. The heavier oil is recommended for heavier riders using the FZ6 forks. If you don't mind riding up past LA, I've done the mod and can help you. But that's a ~3hr+ trip for ya.

And any decent shop should be able to follow the directions on the SBN/FZ6 site.
