R6 Headers

I have a mate who has a set of '04 R6 Headers, i was thinking of trying them on my '05 FZ6N. do you think it would work or not worth the effort. The mounting points are identical. Just trying to find a way to squeeze a little extra out the engine.

thats the problem, im thinking i may be able to get it welded up to say a set of two brothers.

Why do you think that the R6 headers are superior?

Gosling1 has them on his bike.
I would ask him how he did it.

If I remember right they help with top end power.

They have a 4 into two then back much further than ours.

Cause its fun. Thats why I would do it. LOL LOL

if you can pull it off, would be very interested in seeing a dyno run against stock headers, with same end cans, just to see what difference there is, if any? :thumbup:

I did it just to make a 4 into 2 exhaust. Why did I do it? Cause I got bored one weekend and couldn't spend the time riding. I'll dig around to see if I still have the pics.

The butt dyno didn't feel much difference.
