You need to move your plate a few inches towards the rear...somehow. That'll solve the bent plate prob

Nice job! Getting all the little bits of detail right is going to be where the fun is at...Tail light, etc.

But nothing is undoable, and at this point, that looks bloody fantastic...glad you shortened the pipes.

Hey ReapeR,

First off, that looks...amazing. I love the back end on that 100x more than the stock one. From the sound of it you did some custom work to get that on there. Is there any chance of a semi in-depth write up? I'm putting this on my list of things to do to my bike but to be honest I don't know if I could do it just from scratch.

mudkipz, jfman, sorry i didnt respond sooner i didnt know anyboydy else posted on this thread, thought it has been dead for a while. but anyway, i just repainted the tail( i dropped it) and while putting it back together i though about redoing it??!! it irritates me the way i made some of the mounts, you cant see them when its all together but i know theyre there, im thinking of buying a fz subframe and taking it and letting a machine shop cut it and rebend it to exactly what i need instead of having the pipe welded on top of it, or buying a r1 subframe and making it mount to the bike. i havent decided. and the top and bottom parts of the tail wont lock together around the tail light so i thought about fiber glassing it together as one peice. im still tossing ideas up. but it is a 07 r1 tail, undertail, tail light, and seats. if you have any other ques about it the best way is prob just to pm me, i dont really look back at my old posts, just all the new ones, sorry. but ill send you a write up, i made one on here but ill send it to you. again sorry that took so long!
