Has anyone tried this conversion? I have a 99' R1 rear shock and swing arm lying around and I was wondering if I can graft it on my FZ6 since the swing arm on the FZ6 looks like an old FZR swing arm.

Strange, with so many people putting R1 and R6 bits on their bike, why not just sell the FZ6 and buy one?

You can put risers on them if the position is too extreme.

Sorry BOT, haven't seen this done.

Sorry BOT, haven't seen this done.

I've already been on sportbikes for several years already and got tired of the clip-ons and back aches.

The FZ6 is fine but what's wrong with trying to improve on it?

I'm only asking since I already have the bits lying around here in the house and I hate how the swing arm looks on the FZ6 looks like an old 90's swing arm...

Thanks for taking the time to reply though. ;)
