It looks so much better black since I have almost everything else black.

Looks good but won't last more than two weeks. You have to powdercoat rearsets so the paint won't rub off from your shoes and boots.

This was a sort of dry run to see what it would look like/how durable paint would be. I've painted the exhaust cover, and it has lasted REALLY well and shows no signs of rubbing off. However, the rearsets do get touched way more than the exhaust does.

Oh well, if it comes off, I won't be too disappointed because now I know how to remove the rearsets and I'll have an idea of what it will look like if I DO get them powdercoated.

Thanks so much for this pic/input as my bike is "stealth" as well. I have been considering doing this very thing, though I have to admit that I hadn''t considered the pipes! Gosh that's a great looking bike! (Love the rim tape) Take care and safe riding!
