Karen went shopping with $100 spend on some goodies. If she spent $40 on a new bag, 20% of what was left on a new sprocket, 1/8 of her original money on marshmallows, and 31/71 of what was left of her money on a new lipstick, how much money does she have left?

$20

$20.00. After she spent $40.00 on a new bag, she had $60.00 left. Twelve dollars was spent on a new sprocket, leaving her with $48.00. One eighth of her original $100 ($12.50) was spent on marshmallows. Ther leaves her $35.50 ($48.00-$12.50). she then spends 31/71 on a new lipstick, or $15.50. she now has $20.00 ($35.50 - $15.50).
