I recently bought an EXO-700 and really like it. I do have one minor problem, that I cannot tell if its significant. I'll do my best to explain.

The tab to raise the visor is on the left side. When I raise it, it goes up, however, the first indent is a little stiff. When I raise it while looking at the helmet, I notice that the visor twists or torques in the right side pivot. It only does this a little, then goes right up. Like I said this is not major, but I also notice that all of the pics of the helmets show the speedshift dials positioned at 9 and 3 (horizontal). But on mine, the right side one is more like 7 and 1 (southwest to northeast). Since this is also the same side that torques a bit, I wonder if something is not aligned correctly on one side.

I cannot find any documentation on how to adjust these. I also see two plastic screws came with the helmet, but I cannot see what exactly they adjust.

I really like the helmet, and do not really think it is defective or broken. I'm just wondering what other scorpion users think.

Thanks

I have the same helmet. No problem with my visor. Have you tried taking your visor off and putting it back on? Sometimes, if you don't put the visor on correctly, it will do something like what you just descirbed.

yeah, I tried that several times and its on correctly. The other thing that is weird, is that since the right dial is not horzontal, it makes getting the visor off a little tough. One hand has two twist, to get into the finger slots on the right side. make sense?

is your helmet fairly new? Mine did this when it was new (hard for one side to open) but it doesnt do it anymore. I have never checked to see what direction the thumbscrews point..... lemme check.

ok my thumbscrews point in two different directions... the left side one points at 9&3 and the right side one is more 8&2 so i dont think that its a problem because I can get the visor off pretty easily..... maybe just needs to be broken in..... :don'tknow:
