I was just looking through a Yahoo webpage of 22 reason's not to wear a helmet. Turns out to be sarcasm mostly, but the last pic was this:

and I just gotta know, who is it? Anybody recognize the bike?
I also gotta say, this rider makes me feel better about the inevitable beetle that hits me in the forehead just above and right between my eyebrows like a bullet at 30 to 50 mph every time I do get to go without one.
There are times I catch a small swarm of gnats when not wearing a face visor, but never been this bad.

A few times riding out to Anza Borrego Desert via Rt.79 near Lake Henshaw there would be flying grasshoppers in the millions. No way to avoid them. So many are crushed on the roadway that it becomes slippery and dangerous on a bike. Can't imagine not being full face protected.
I road my KZ1000 coast to coast in 1985 and ran into a swarm of locusts. I was sleeveless, doing about 80 mph and it looked like smoke rising up from a field and drifting to the roadway. Before I realized it my arms were bloodied from those sharp prongs on their legs hitting me at 80....

You know the old saying: "You can tell a happy biker by the amount of flies in his teeth"
