Progrip 719 open end grips

Hey all, I tried searching, but to no avail.

Anyway, I bought some 719's for my FZ1 bar swap that I'm doing this week or next, and they finally came. The only issue is, it's not "open ended". at the end of the grip, it looks like this (only in black/black)

I contacted the seller through amazon who told me to ship it back to them, they'll investigate it and send me a new one or a refund.

What do you think I should do? Send it back, or just carefully cut them open so the bar ends will still work?

Very easy if you happen to have an old handlebar laying around. Stick the grip on it and just gently hammer on the end of the grip. It'll cut a perfectly round hole out. I've done this many times without issues.

Great idea! When I do my FZ1 bar swap I'll have the fz6 bar sitting there for it! Thanks!
