"Powerlet" out of business, FYI

Apparently "Powerlet" went under (was notified by a customer).

I was directed to "Warm and safe" for a replacement socket:

BMW Socket With Spring Cap - Warm & Safe Heated Gear, LLC

The installation hole size is the same as the Powerlet.

It appears to be about identical to the Powerlet socket.

Did you get the brackets on the FJR or waiting on Warm and Safe outlets?

Yep, installed on both sides. They look great.


But I didn't install the outlets yet, The W&S outlets arrived. But I'm still fiddling with how I want to make the connections and routing to the battery. The powerlet version came with a nice rubber dust cap so I'm planning to try heat shrink tubing.
