Hey folks, gonna grab a dynojet power commander V, They say the pod 300 is available for S2 models, would it not work on a S1? Any help or insight greatly appreciated lads. I wanna get both for my 2005 if possible
Just off the top of my head, the S2 has the O2 sensor and the S1 does not. This doesn't have to mean it won't work but if someone doesn't chime in, you might contact support at the Dynojet.
I have a PCFC on my S1. The PCFC is basically a stripped down power commander that does fuel only. My PCFS has connections for the O2 sensor that is simply left disconnected on the S1
I had specific goals for the PCFC. I had lots of popping on deceleration that I eliminated by adding fuel at 0 throttle and between 3000 and 5000 rpm. Worked great. As for performance tuning, my opinion is don't waste your time and money unless you plan on dyno tuning. There is no way you can use a butt dyno to make measurable improvements to engine performance.
