We spent a lot on the new bike this summer and a ton of gear so no x-mas stuff this year... that's OK, there's always next year

You are correct, I live in the west side of the state, in Killdeer, right north of Dickinson. The eastern 2/3 of ND are mighty flat, but we have some terrain here in the west, although not much in the way of twisties.

I hope to get in another longer ride on New Years Day. We'll see if Mother Nature lets me.

rich.... I guess that ND is similar in terrain to SD.

When we bicycled accross country this summer ....the western 1/3rd of SD was very pretty and mountainous and the eastern 2/3'ds was rolling and boring Unless your really liked corn
