I have and other than the fact that she was president of 4H and the editor of her school paper, I'd say you are right. She may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but you don't generally get to be a school paper editor if you don't at least have a firm grasp on the English language (which is one step up from many politicians).

While I don't generally subscribe to the "porn stars are people too" mentality (mostly because I think you have to be a bit messed up to choose that career), if she is serious about this, I say give her a chance. A real chance, not a "she's hot lets vote for her" chance. At least her exploits were done in the public eye, and her job isn't something that she was trying to hide. So far, she has been the most honest political candidate ever, as far as sex goes.

so I Wikipedia'd her to see maybe her bio would say something along the lines of "during college started porn" or something that could at least give her "some" kind of intellectual credit. She started stripping at 17 and just made her way into porn.. that's it.

frick, come on, she's not even affiliated with a party, and doing a listening tour... what does this mean, she's an idiot. If you are truely interested in politics and your community, you know what the issues are. Now, I know what people are going to say "blah blah blah most politicians are idiots, blah blah blah", great so that mean's it's ok to allow the cycle to continue. Besides most "idiot" politicians make it big because they have very competent staff members with experience and a fervor for the issues. Who's going to be on her staff, the "FAN" that started the campaign... now i'm not saying looking at porn is bad, we've all dabbled, but to publicly give yourself the title of fan, come on.

This whole thing just makes me upset and I know she won't win, but give me a break, as soon as this was brought up, I wish that people would have laughed at her and told her to stick to her industry instead of giving her the attention (which is all she is looking for, attention):Flip:

She actually didnt know this was going on until last week. The guys (yes multpiple male lawyers) who started the movement did without even talking to her. She found out through a friend that this was going on. So to bash her saying she is looking for attention is just incorrect. I read alot of article cause I just couldnt believe someone thought it would be a good idea to draft a porn star into politics. I am just pointing out that she did put herself into this looking for attention such asall the celebrities who did(ex. Mary "Mary Carey" Cook aslo a porn star, Gary Coleman, Larry Flint, Richard Simmons, Paul Mailander profesional golfer) when they ran for governor of california in the 2003 recall election. Now I am not saying i would support her if I lived in Luoisianna I am just saying that this was in no way her idea, but know that someone else has started this without her consent she would be smart to ride out the publicity wave, and try to get as much out of it as she can.

It was actually started by an LSU student on craigslist and she's been public about it since at least the first week of May. What she didn't know about at first was the "Draft Stormy" website that started after the craigslist stunt.

Now did a bunch of behind the scenes politicians push this real hard to bring back Sen. Vitter's Prostitution ring scandal, you better believe it. I just wish people could see that! Politics is a dirty game, but it's easy to see through the bull**** if your half way educated.

To be honest, I'm starting not I don't hate her for it. I know she's not going to actually run, that's why she is doing all these listening tours and exploratory committees. She doesn't have enough money (and she won't be able to get it), She (contrary to what you believe) is just in it for the publicity (a smart move for someone trying to sell anything). What pisses me off are the people giving it any attention at all in the media and the constituents in LA.
