Please Help! Selling my bike.

I have an 2004 Yamaha fz6 i bought this bike for 2200 it had a slight dent on the bottom of the tank and the front tire didnt have that much thread on it so the bike was a lil bit off. Im selling the bike now. its summer time. im getting 2500 cash for it ive rode the bike for about 4 months now. its very clean. not even a single scratch on it (apart from the dent) mechanically sound electrics are awsome never had a problem with it at all. so im wondering if the 2500 is a good deal for it?..or should i wait and try to get more as we go deeper in the summer?

I paid $2200 for mine, with a salvage/rebuilt title, but no damage. FWIW, that was on the high side of what I was willing to pay, but I got lied to about the title, and already had a couple hundred into going to look at it, so I decided to risk it.

I don't know exactly what a 'slight' dent is. If the front tire is still shot, figure it's going to run $200 to replace give or take, plus a buyer is going to be willing to spend less because they have to take care of it.

$2500 sounds like a decent price, depending on the local market, and miles. There's a bunch of FZ6s around me, but none of them are going for under $3k, I could probably sell mine for more than I paid even with the title.

The bike has 10k miles on it and its a small dent. its a clean title. and there is one mor local selling an 2004 with 14000 miles for 3200 but he has it stated as "negotiable"

I imagine Indy has a decent bike market. If the dent is really insignificant, and with low miles like that, you might have been a little low. Especially if you listed it on CL... always add 20% of what you want to get, or 50% if your area is full of lowballing idiots.
