PC III- Setting Throttle Position?

Anyone know if you have to set the throttle postion for a PC III when installed on the FZ6. A friend pointed out this post on FZ1oa: PC3 - Setting Opening and Closing Points - FZ1OA Message Board

It looks easy enough, but wasn't sure if it had to be done on the FZ6. I searched around and couldn't find any info on it. Any insight into this is much appreciated.

Yes, the throttle position is needed to allow the selection of the cell in the two dimensional matrix to be selected correctly. Otherwise you would have only a single column of values corresponding to RPM only, regardless of the throttle opening.

It's simple to do, and then with a good map, your off to the races. Good luck.

Thanks Andy. Yeah it seems easy enough to do. Just wasn't sure if it had to be done since I couldn't find any posts on it.
