Pazzos and Grip Puppies Installed

Are these grip puppies $10 for the pair or $10 each? I was going to order them but then I got confused regarding the quantity box indicated 1. 1 meaning one pair, or 1 meaning just one piece!

I am getting ready to install some Oury Grips

They are roughly 1.3in in diameter in comparison to the 1.2in diameter from the stockers.

I ran them religously on my dirtbikes. The large rubber blocks take some of the impact and vibrations out of the bars. The large diameter forced me to loosen my grip. Which in no way effected my control but helped reduce fatigue. The wider grip kept from putting the death grip on the bars which gave my arm-pump. Some of you may know what this is other may not. It is a cramping in the fore-arm which sucks to say the least.

I plan on putting those on soon. I have them in the garage, just need to get around to putting them on.

Just thought I would share.

Give them some days to get used to. If you find them uncomfortable even after a week simply take them off. By the way I reached 6,000 miles on my bike today. I did my first oil change today using the Yamalube 10W40 and the Yamaha oil filter. Even though I spilled some oil (the oil bolt was removed little too quickly at the end) the whole experience was very gratifying. Thanks for the "how to change oil" thread.

After my serious ride last week with the Southern California members, my hands are still numb from the vibration of the bike. So I ended up ordering some grip puppies earlier in the week and just installed them this afternoon.

Like other have mentioned, my small hands will take some time to get use to. And I did have to cut part of the grip puppies off because they were too long. I ended up sanding the cut portion down with some 100 grit sand paper and rounded the edges off so that it would look like just the way they came.

I think the price went up because it cost me $9.20 for the pair.

How difficult is the install on the Pazzo levers? Do they cause you to engage the brake and clutch with a couple of fingers or do you use your entire hand. They just look so small.
I ride with Grip Puppies and like the feel. I have larger hands and they fit me perfect.

Installing a new clutch lever is SUPER simple.. turn the adjustment all the way in to loosen the cable, release the cable from the old lever, loosen/remove the 10mm nut, slide out the holding screw, and reverse installation.. just make sure NOT to over tighten the cable once you re-install it.. some play is needed.
