Post replies here please don't PM me my inbox is almost full and it's a pain dealing with PMs. Thanks.

Pretty much have the whole machine. Plastics are not really worthwhile but the lights are still good.

Everything else is there too but the engine casings have gravel-rash on em just FYI.

Everything else is mechanically 100% sound.

Tell me what you need and make me some offers.

I'd still like to sell the thing as a full machine, but right now I just want to see what offers roll in for parts. I will not accept offers and confirm the bike will be parted out until I'm sure enough people want enough parts.

If not enough people want enough parts I will still try to keep her together.

Just would kinda seem fitting to take the bike apart and allow the forum community to sort of "consume" this machine. Just kinda seems poetic somehow after everything.

Anyway, lemme know.

:)

Is the rear handle / fairing still in decent condition, or the front fender I want both to paint because mine are in perfect condition and dont want to ruin them with a botch paint job.

No and no.

And yes.....-ish.

Lol

The plastics and stuff are not what I'm really parting out. I'm parting out the actual machine itself. Not the dressing. But the lights are still pretty much good for the dressing part.

I'll add high res pictures soon-ish.

How about the stock wiring harness (the one inside the fairing that runs from the frame to the headlights/turn signals/speedometer?) If you decide to part it out, I'll take it.

I'd take the oil level switch that goes in the bottom of the oil pan if you would sell it apart from the pan.

passenger handle fairing
rear tail light fender/license with turn signal
stock handle bar
left handle bar switch

what about the black plastic cover for the front wheel?

Have it but it's glued together in one place

i need a few parts

do you know if your parts would fit a 2009

thanks

you'll have to research it on your own

sure. but only if enough people take the meat of the bike which it seems they arent at the moment everyones trying to pick up little bits and bolts from the outer shell

passenger handle fairing
rear tail light fender/license with turn signal
stock handle bar
left handle bar switch

and thanks for making a list of stuff thats broken on mine. lol

Sorry to see the bike like this Lone :(

I really resonated with the idea of letting it be consumed' by this group. So fitting.
Speaking of fitting, do those 'Stomp' tank protectors come off/reusable? A quick google shows me $85 in Oz - Ouch!
Not the sort of part out you were thinking but it certainly in the spirit of.

It doesn't make me sad to see her in this state. She is still alive and kicking and quite healthy. She was able to run and frolick and play. She was used for the purpose she was built for and loved every minute of it with the engine screaming and howling in pleasure.

I'm actually kinda pleased to know she was ridden till she was ragged.

:)

As for the stomp grips they are not tank protectors. They are grips. When hanging off you don't slip on the tank especially if you're wearing jeans. They don't really come off unless you want to buy some adhesive and attach them again that way.
