The BIG Land!

If you have an iPhone there is an app called Photosynth which automatically stitches images together. This is a photosynth picture I took while on vacation at great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine TX. If you scroll to the top you can see the 2nd from the top most level of water slides !!

How many shots did you take to get those awesome results??

Were the pics in the 1st post taken with a fish eye lens? Or what ever it's called.....whatever you used all of them are awesome but the the lodge is f'n incredible! I might just have to check that app out for myself

With the photosynth app you just move the camera and it takes photos when it needs to fill in a spot. It maps on the screen where you need to take photos and were you have already taken some.

With the photosynth of Great Wolf I managed to get just about full coverage (there's still a hole at the bottom.

Oh and the app is FREE

I took those with a Canon 20D, 18-200 Canon zoom set at 18mm. I did the pics hand held and just tried to keep the camera level as I rotated to take the photo's. Windows put them together better than I would have. I tried with some 50 year old black and white photo's from the same area and Windows did a decent job with those too.
The lodge is fantastic, so off to find a good subject some time this week and try my luck at creating something neat.
