Oz's Question of the day #26 (24/6/09)

There is a room with a light bulb hanging from the ceiling!
There is nothing else in the room!
There are three light switches outside the room ,which one belongs to the room!

You can only enter the room once!
You can not see into the room at all, not underneath door ,through the keyhole or over the door and there are no windows!

Which light switch belongs to the room? #1,#2 or #3 ?

Double casino cash to the first person who can show how they worked it out.

Answer:Turn the left switch on for a couple minutes and then shut it off, turn on switch #2 and enter the room, if the light is on then it is switch #2, if it is off and hot then it is switch #1, and if it is off and cold then it is switch #3.

There is no way of knowing which switch before hand.
