Cali_Rider and I were talking about bike vs car around a track, and I was surprised to learn that cars are just as fast... I thought bikes would always destroy cars, but I guess not!

A 600 might have been faster on that course... he was having a hard time keeping the front wheel on the ground.

Cars have 4 wheels, and that car is most likely AWD, you don't have to worry about leaning or highsiding or sliding or any of that in a car, so you can go balls out around a corner.

Bikes are generally faster in a straight line because of the power to weight ratio.

Generally the bike accelerates and brakes faster, but the car can take the corners faster. It depends on the track though, but generally the times are pretty close.
