one of the most messed up things I've read

I saw it on another forum from someone in town.

The possibility that it was a stolen bike being escorted by a van load of other bike thieves has been put up.

If not I hope they find the people that stopped and feed them to crickets.

That is seriously messed up either way! How could anyone leave someone to die? Regardless, they deserve the "CRICKETS"! (Did you see that in a movie?)

That makes my stomach sick to know that people in this world apparently don't have hearts or morals. I hope that bike throws the thief off big time.

No some other sick puppy like me came up with the crickets and a 55 gallon steel drum with tiny air holes. That would be a just horrible horrible way to go.

People are becoming so heartless in our age. Unfortunately as time passes you hear more and more of these kind of things happening. What ever happened to values and human decency?

if thats true they would have known the guy who crashed and would have helped him. my guess is they were a group of punk kids or something.

that is seriously messed up though. very sickening. to think, maybe he could have survived if they bothered to call 911 before they left or something at least. seriously.

and how friggin hard is it to steal a bike???? just go drive around for 3 hours with a pickup you will find many bikes to steal, dont steal one from a dying man that is so horrible and needless. if u rly want to steal a bike its not hard. so many that arent locked up etc.

they exist only on a small scale. in the past there was just as much bad stuff as there is now. only now the scale has changed.

I'm trying to visualize the scenario. Somebody crashes, bad enough to be considered fatal, yet the motorcycle can still be taken? I just can't imagine.

Death by Crickets? I once saw a movie about some mad scientist who dumped a green slime on somebody's face that was eaten alive by crickets. What movie was that?

It would almost seem that way. However, I still have faith in people in general. In most cases outside of what happened in the posted article, people are usually likely to try to help. From what I understand, the article is based on an isolated incident, where the guy who took the bike isn't just a common punk, but overall a complete waste of flesh.

that is seriously messed up, i read it from another forum, but it still makes me mad that people would do stuff like this...

I'm guessing that the rider wasn't wearing very good safety gear, if any. If he was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and no helmet, even a mild fall could become fatal.

Heck, if you drop your bike at a stoplight and smack your head on the pavement as you fall, you could be dead from a 0mph bike wreck.

In any case, I hope they catch the scum who left a man to die. The crickets get my vote.

Feed the crickets a good meal before you put them in. That way they won't eat right away. It gives the guy time to think about it.

This is some messed up people.... Even if they all were thiefs, how in the world are they going to leave their partner dying in the street? I just can't understand some behaviors...
