Ok - admit it... How many of you watch American Idol?

I do - the auditions are pretty funny. And some of them are really, really bad.

If you ever get the chance, there are reality TV shows that are WAY BETTER in India. If you ever manage to watch a single reality TV episode from India, you'll be hooked for life.

One of my favorites was, "The Million Dollar Arm."

In India, baseball is extremly rare. Almost nobody in India has ever played, seen or even heard of baseball. They don't know who Babe Ruth or Mark McGwire are. They can't even name a single American baseball team.

One day, there was a contest held for an Indian TV show called, "The Million Dollar Arm." Since baseball is so scarce in India, over 30,000 people went for the try-outs! Most of these people were very low-class or absolute poor individuals, who've never even SEEN a baseball before.

Long story short, they got to watch an American demonstration video, depicting the basics for pitching a baseball. Very basic video.

Now what American Baseball team do those 2 guys play for? I forgot...

hehe, Imagine that... especially if he came across some of the idiot cagers out there :rof:

There'd be steam and spit coming out of the helmet... probably fog up the visor and cause an accident himself... probably best if he stays away from 2 wheels.

I do get a laugh out of him though, I think it's cool how he can swear and carry on like a tool on international TV and get away with it.

I've been known to catch an episode or two, but I don't generally seek it out.

I am totally addicted to "So you think you can dance" however, and will DVR an episode if I can't be home for it.....
