I say in the next 2-3 years I will have one of these. Prob would keep the FZ6 too. This is a gorgeous bike. Damn those Italians know how to make stuff look good!!

Great bike to ride to the local Pub and talk about it while you rest your sore arse and wrists in preparation for your painful ride home. Does it look awesome? Oh yeah! Buy a used one...I'm sure it will have low miles on it!

We've had the 'Dark 'range of Ducati's for years over here.Strange that it usually meant bargain basement spec,which was reflected in the price.
The 848 Dark however differs only in the matt paint finish.The running gear etc is identical,yet its about a grand cheaper than a shiny one...

Oh, we've had "Dark" Ducatis here too, I just didn't know this year's 848 came in the matte black. I thought it was still just red and white. And not only is the matte black sexy, but it knocks $1000 off the price without sacrificing anything!
