Hey guys,

How goes it? So, I'm new to this forum but not new to riding. I've been riding ever since I graduated high school back in '05. I started off with an '06 Ninja 636. Most may nod their head in disapproval but I thought it was an alright bike to start on (given that I had previous experience with dual sports and some dirt bikes).

I've been riding ever since then...and I would NEVER give up riding for the life of me. I am proud to say I am the proud owner of several bikes at my young age. I own a 2004 Buell XB12R which is a totally fun ride and it brings a smile to my face when people hear me riding up next to them thinking it's a cruiser and then stare in disbelief as they see me pull up next to them. =) I've got a 2007 R6s (which I LOVE). It's not rideable on the street but it is lotsa fun in parking lots (I've got a stunt sprocket on it and no fairings, headlights, speedo, etc). Maybe someday soon I'll make it legit again. I also just purchased a used but good condition '07 GSXR600. Needs clutch plates and an oil change but I think it's a good buy for 4k considering the bike has about 2,000 miles on it still.

I joined this forum in hopes of meeting new, cool people I can discuss things with. I too used to ride sport touring bike (SV650S) and I can't even begin to describe just how flickable and lightweight these bikes are. My best friend just bought a '08 FZ6. I know that sometime soon He will have some questions that even I cannot answer. So where better to come to for advice and whatnot?? FZ-forums!!!

:welcome: Aeon_Blue to the best group around! You'll find a very diverse dynamic group of people. Sounds like you have some great skills combined with a sense of consciousness that can bring some solid experience to our forum. :rockon:

Yes, I do have some helpful advice and opinions on many things and I would be more than willing to offer my 2 cents worth if anyone asked. Of course, all the experience came from my share of spills and misfortunes and I've been lucky enough to have learned from my mistakes. >.<

The Buell is my love as well. I baby this thing like nobodys business!! I almost sold it too but later decided not to after Buell closed their doors sometime back. Collector's item =)

PS: Pay no attention to me not wearing gloves, jacket, or boots. This was a few years ago prior to me learning just how important my skin really is =P

Draggin Jeans. I just bought a pair. You get ALL the abrasion resistance without sacrificing any comfort. Seriously, these things are more comfortable than non-riding pants I own. And they look good. Google them you can order direct from their website. Best riding pants Ive ever owned and you know they will hold up even if you go for a slide at highway speeds. Keeping the skin on your back is fine but not if you lose all the skin and muscle off your legs.

My cousin went for a slide doing like 60-70KPH once. He had to get muscle grafts. It was seriously gruesome. Scared the piss out of me even now seeing his scars. They are so messed up. So I always wear pants in addition to the rest of the get-up.

Well, that's my rant for the day.

Welcome! This forum seriously rocks. There's old people, young people, round people, square people, sensible people, wild people.....every people.

I know even if I ever stop riding my FZ and maybe turn it into a track bike or crash it and decide to get a diff bike, I will always be on this forum. You'll pick up on it after a while, but there is a great vibe here that doesn't exist on other forums. It's really positive, can't really explain it.

Will be good to have some input from a stunter though. Post some videos. We would all love to see them (and stunt vicariously through you :P). "I could dooo thaaaaaaat!"

P.S. Whatever you do, don't ask about the goat.
