Greetings! Just traded a Kawi 900 Custom on an 09 FZ6. Also own a Concours 14 which will become a full dress cruiser soon. Paid $7126 for my FZ out the door including a 4 yr ext warr. Did I get a good deal?

hey man congrats. the price you got is still over $1000 lower than in canada for a brand new 09. :D enjoy man!!!!!!! pics?

Thanks! Yeah, will get pics up, but on college trip with stepson and only have Blackberry. Photobucket didn't cooperate. I got "beyond gorgeous blue", with about 50 miles on her-all from test rides at Yami/Suzi of Tx near Fort Worth-great dealer.

:welcome: Enjoy and ride safe.

Now to the question, using the list price from Yamaha and the Kelly Blue Book Trade-in value...

New, 09, FZ6: $7290
Trade-in value on a 2000 (did'nt have a year), Kawasaki 900: -$3175

Total without tax, license and extended warranty: $4115

Bottom line, you have to decide how good a deal it was. While you are deciding, enjoy that awesome FZ6 :D

Hi there. I bought a 2008 FZ6 yesterday. Pick it up Monday. The new one was @ AUS$11,500 on road. Don't know how that compares with US$.
