Hey Everyone,

New member/ New rider.

My Name is Derek, I'm 20, and just completed my bike training and received my M2 here in Ontario:thumbup:

Cant remember where i first noticed the FZ6, but prob in a magazine and have found it to be the perfect bike for myself.

Sporty look, good power, and comfortable.

I'm in works of buying an '09 FZ6 while my friend buys an '09 R1:eek:. Wish me luck! Hopefully ill have some pics possibly next week when we pick them up, or the next depending when were both available to trailer them home.

Anyone in Ontario recommend insurance?, State farm is apparently the best but they wont touch me unless i have 5 yrs since my G1 :(

Thats a bit shy of a year, and well its going to be tormenting seeing it sit there in my garage.

Welcome man:thumbup:. You'll fall in love with this site and it will become kind of an addiction especially at work:spank::spank: oh and get frame sliders first thing. Before you even ride it put frame sliders on it.

Welcome Derek:welcome:

The FZ6 is a great bike; I hope your friend is responsible enough to be riding an R1.

Post up a pic when you get your bike!;)

:welcome: to the Forum Derek. You'll meet a lot of great folks here and a wealth of info. Use the search often and let's see some picks of that great bike!
