New member, new rider

Never rode a motorcycle until March this year. My wife and I took a MSF course in Kansas City. A couple weeks later, I bought a 2011 FZ6R. I don't think I've driven my car more than a half-dozen times since then, and the bike has about 3000 miles on it. Some friends and I spent last weekend on a 1000 mile loop from Kansas City, through Arkansas and back. I wish I'd taken up riding years ago.

I spent several years modifying a series of Mazda RX-7s (first generation) just because I could. I haven't started in on the bike yet, other than adding a Givi topcase, but I have gotten a lot of ideas reading this site.
