New member from Alabama

Hey everyone ! I just signed up and wanted to say hello.

I am going Friday to pick up a brand new black 2008 FZ6.

I am excited because I have never owned a sport bike before,
only cruisers.

I really like the upright seating position of this bike.

welcome. it is a great bike. it'll be a different ride for you... but i'm sure you'll love it. i came from a v-twin and it took some getting used to. now, i'm not sure if i ever want a v-twin again. i might someday try out a triple, but i have grown to love the in-line 4.

I forgot that I owned a Suzuki DL650 Vstrom for three years.
I guess thats not considered a sport bike though.
