Just got hold of a 2006 bike and loving it so far. It has only done 7200 miles, and is in mint condition. Very chuffed.

First impressions; Nice ride, light for town, power down the motorway. Well put together, excellent brakes, looks good too.

Downsides; Slightly clunky gear changes - looking longingly at KN's clutch mod but alas stopped production.
Vibrates through the revs under my seat - need to look to see if HT leads are ok. Getting a K&N air filter on Friday which may help too.
Usuals - need louder exhaust and taller screen.

Mods already done; Acumen immobiliser, R&G crash bobbins
Next mod up; Tail tidy FZ6 R/S2 Fazer 600 (04-12) Tail Tidy & 1 Pair of Indicators


Would be good to hear from other Londoners for a meetup maybe

you can try a throttle body sync for vibrations, but I didn't notice much difference after I did mine

:welcome: Shifting is smoother at higher revs. Lower down rev matching needs to be pretty precise.
