just wanted to say hi. I am a new FZ6 owner waiting to take delivery of my blue 08. This will be my first bike, i hope to put some miles on it practicing for my saftey course, and then zip around legaly with my license. can't wait

yeah, i'm kinda getting worried about the acceleration of the bike. I just have to learn to be really carefull. I already got all my gear, i made sure to take care of that first thing. Got the helmet, icon leg armor (i dont want to wear motorcycle type pants all day at work), gloves, boots, and jacket. I am looking to buy some protection for my bike as we speak, so i will have it be safe as well.

Welcome, Ride Safe and have fun. I am newbie all around so I am definitely not in a position to be doling out the advice. I live in Chili (its near Rochester) which is about 35 or 40 from you. Maybe I'll see you on the thruway sometime.

Welcome from Simpson County Kentucky about 25 miles out of Bowling Green. Seems there are more than a few from the Commonwealth. Good luck with your class and do ride safe as a Kentucky motorcyclist is not well respected by the cager crowd around these parts.
