New Givi v46 case

soo.. i ended up buying a used givi v46 and a top rack from someone @ sbn.. i think i paid tuesday and had the case by friday.. could not believe how awesome it is. the case looks brand new. no marks or scratches. the top rack also looks very new. here is a few snaps of the v46. cant wait to put it on the bike. but now i know why people buy these.. they rock!!! :thumbup:

I love my V46. You can put a ton of stuff in there and it seems to have almost no impact on handling.

I added a set of V35s on the last day of the riding season, so it's too early to know how I'll like them, but I think the V46 is more useful for day-to-day stuff.

I just put on some V35's and the bike is soooo much more useful now. though i can't feel any difference i just love having the space. beats trying to cram stuff into a backpack and then have to wear the backpack.... in fact i love the V35's so much I wish I had a top case now!

i wish i could get some pics, but i live in a condo and the bike is over in my grandma's garage (winter storage).. about 2 or 3 more months and ill have some pictures..

I love my top case, I'm visiting the local paint shop today to get the top lid to match my bike

Its nice to have room for most days to not worry with a tank bag, etc. the tank looks good without something sittin on it

very nice! I think the Yamaha OEM is a V46. It looks a little narrower and deeper than my E52. The topcase is a very useful device for commuting. I don't know how I lived without it!

I know right.. I dunno why i waited so long to get one. I acctually started a new job in Dec (last month) and I'll be able to start ridding the bike into work this spring. cant wait.. just wondering what i am going to do for a cover for the bike (i do the condo living with no garage). since a need a new cover anyways.. any recomendations???

why not just get the one from givi (or ebay) thats already matched.. or are they not really matched that well.. I was looking at the replacement lid for my bike (05 blue) but i will deal with the matte black for the time being.

Not the right picture but the right item - I bought one of these "touring" covers [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Motogear-Deluxe-Motorcycle-Cover-Touring/dp/B000NNONWK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1232398436&sr=1-1"]cover [/ame] and it seems to work good with my top case on (way too big without it). It's a little loose around the back wheel but otherwise fits good. FYI I did try the "cruiser" size cover from the same company and it was too small with the case. Ignore my winter project dual-sport and you can see the covered FZ6 w/ topcase in this picture behind the XT.
