Picked up a 2009 FZ6 brand new this past Saturday. Worst part is that it's been sitting in the garage because of weather/not having time yet to ride so it's still at 0 miles. :(

Welcome to the forum! There are quite a few SoCal riders on the boards. You'll need to meet up with us sometime for a group ride. Enjoy that bike!

:welcome:S197 !

Keep an eye out for SoCal rides. We get together a few times a year. Generally down this way (San Diego) and have a great time riding east of here.

Great bike and a great forum to match!

Dude,
Welcome to the FZ6 family. :welcome:
Being in SoCal you will have a lot of opportunity to go riding with the coolest hoons from the forum down there. They are the great bunch of guys and some awesome riders. Make sure you take advantage of meeting them.

I'm a new '09 FZ6N owner here in Australia. Welcome to the club, and post up some pics of your new affection. I can relate (somewhat) to the want to give her a ride ;)

Need pics. Must.... see.... pics.....

Welcome Aboard!
Being from Cali I understand your situation. I'm currently in NJ and like others have said, its too cold to ride. I also recently bought an 09 FZ6 and have put on just over a 1000 miles on it in 2 months. Enjoy the board, I've learned much so far.

Erci,
I don't miss it!

No kidding! I was hoping to go for a short ride today during lunch (even though it's only going to be about 30 degrees), but woke up to snow on the ground :( :( :(
oh well.. at least I'm heading out to VT for 2 days of snowboarding in a few hours :D

This was earlier this week. That is Fahrenheit, boys. Missouri has it all!

Welcome S197! Watch out for Cliff, or "motogiro" he is a wild party animal.

:welcome: Former Orange County rider/resident now living in Chicago. Snow on the ground and 14 degrees today BUT the sun is out.

Enjoy the bike and the cool people on this board. Very helpful and informative.

Welcome to the forum. I was in SoCal until about this past June and ridden with a lot of the forum members down there. Enjoy the ride and remember to ride your own ride if you decide to meet up with these guys. Some are your average rider, some are fairly novice, and some will leave you in the dust. Don't try to keep up with the latter guys, they'll wait for you at the next stop.

Enjoy the bike and enjoy some upcoming warmer/dryer weather coming your way!
