I'm 5'9 185 lbs. What setting does the shock need to be for the twisties, my other fellow riders dont have fz6. They all have fz1's and rockets.

Try 5, then 6 and see what you like. My guess is 5.

Perspective...I'm 213lbs/97kg and I have it on 7. I'd like about 6.7 but obviously that can't be done.
Move it up one at a time and keep the tool handy. If you don't like it. Stop. Adjust and retry. Saves pulling the seat off. Might want a setting for commuting and another for the twistys.

Hey Brian, I always kept mine on 5, and I've probably got about 10 lbs on you. (195 lbs)

+1 on trying the different settings and just seeing what feels best.
