Hi guys,

Is any textile / non-leather armored pants that you recommend for warm weather?
(I need something that will perform as well or close as leather if crash occurs, but to offer more ventilation for summer. 110F here last weekend… even perforated leather was a killer!)

I remember seeing in the past pants & jackets made from some sort of engineered fabric that was design to slide on the pavement almost as well as the leather (they say), very resistant, and expensive.

Is anything you guys use & can recommend?

Thanks.

When it's as high as 110F you need to cover up.
It's like you're in an oven.
Mesh isn't going to work. You will just get warmer.
Some type of vented textile would be good.

I think you're referring to motoport kevlar.
I think vegasrider loves this stuff.
It's all over advrider, too.

I ordered my motoport kevlar overpants about 3 weeks ago, they told me that I'll receive it on Aug 14th or there abouts. They are not cheap, without liner $309 before taxes, I'm going to order the liner later, $99 for them.

Definitely Draggin jeans. They do cargo pants as well. It can get to 45'C in Perth in the summer and I still wear my Draggins.
