Naked: Phase One is Done

That's a GREAT start! Job well done! I'm not going to put any of it down and just sit back and enjoy what's still to come. :D

I want to move my mirrors too and was wondering if that would be possible since US bikes don't seem to have the install locations like the non-US specs bike do. How did you get them to stay put, but not have the levers too tight to move? I thought about double bolting them, but, did not think that would prevent them from moving.

1/2" Steel Spacer :D

Wow its looking real good!!!!! can you take a side profile pic with the bars turned straight?? or better yet maybe a quick vid walk around?? (I don't ask for much do I )!!!! LOL

Hey Shreveport1, here are the profile pictures you asked for.

And NO, this is not the finished product or color scheme for anyone who was wondering, next time I post up pictures it will be the finished product :D

It is. $79.99 plus $40 shipping from Lithiuania (took 20 days to recieve, not bad). The belly pan itself is pretty nice, the gel coat will need some prepping and sanding before it is ready to paint, but it is strong and lightweight, made out of fiberglass strand. Good even coat on the gel coat and about 4mm thickness on the fiberglass, consistent throughout the whole piece, no weak spots.

The mounting hardware is crap, the mounting points didn't line up with the bike or the belly pan, tack welded sheet metal to tubing with nuts tacked in place. I spent 45 minutes, grinding it to fit and re-drilling the two front holes, that's the only reason its on the bike right now, wanted to be sure it would fit. I sent the guy an email telling him to either do a better job on the brackets or just not include them at all.

In summary, it was worth the $120 total :D

Don't worry Wavex, there will be lots of black, the accent color will remain a mystery for now ;)
