Aw, yeah...nice bike mate!!! I really liked the light smoke windscreen on the red bike too. That seat looks really comfy...let us all know!!

That is one good looking FZ6! And it's red too. With the windscreen and the frame sliders on it looks very similar to my old FZ6. Enjoy your new mods.

Tour ready! Nice luggage.

Scored getting the luggage -

The Cortech tail and saddle bags I got off a guy in the states that never used them, smoking deal 115.00 USD shipped and I did not get any taxes, skipped right thru customs via Canada Post. Found them on Craigslist. I got the Sport Tailbag and thought I was getting the sport saddlebags, I ended up getting the sport tailbag but the more expensive TriBag Saddlebags, they are a little bigger - 14.5"l x 11"w x 8.5"h (20 Liters per side) versus 12"H x 15"W x 7"D (17 Liters per Side) so the deal was even better than I thought I was getting. They are a little bulkier but hey for 115 USD shipped I cant complain!

Hold on, I'm choking...man what a deal! They look awesome and would probably do for any touring. Excellent find.

How do you like that corbin seat? I did about a 3 hr ride the other day and must say by *())+&& was feeling it.

I know the gel seat is the cheapest way to go and have heard mixed reviews on.

Thanks

I dont know have not been able to ride yet. Going skiing today!

I have read that Corbins take some time to breakin, if they "breakin" at all.
I guess I will find out. I have also read that they have the nickname - Concrete Corbin!

I read this on another forum -
""I got tired of waiting for it to break in...so...I sold it and bought a Sargent. Better fit and shape. IMHO...BTW when I mentioned to Sargent why I was getting their saddle..they stated that they call the Corbins..Concrete Corbin!!""

The alst time I went to Sargents website, I couldn't find a listing for the FZ6. I saw the FZ1 seat, though. I've had Corbins on all my BMWs and loved them. Yes they are firm, but after a few hours, I really appreciated the firmness. Sounds counter intuitive, but it's true. I have put in 11hr days with Corbins and have been comfortable all day. I'm going to check my Corbin stock now to see if it went up!

Nice mods!

Are you worried about the side bags sagging into the wheel? If so... have you done anything to push them outward or hold them?

LOL.. look at the post date. His bike doesn't look anything like the pics above anymore.
