My Last Ride of 2008

Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009!
I'm still riding daily so don't think I'm not. This post is mostly for my Northern/Yankee brothers and sisters that had to Winterize thier bikes.
My ride was a solo one up and down the East coast of Florida in Brevard county. It was HOT out but I was ATGATT! I love my airmesh jacket! I put about 350 miles on the bike and was gone from the house for 12 hours. I did lots of stopping and hanging out at the beaches and some bars that are hoping places on the docks by the cruise ships. The pictures of the bike on the sidewalk are as close to the beach as I could get. The ones on the seawall are on the intercoastal waterway. The Space Shuttle backdrop is probablly my favorite, I all most died to get that shot!

That is my favorite shot, i'm glad I pulled off to get it. They probablly will be taking that away in a couple of years because of the Shuttle Retirement Plan. Most eveyone that lives here in Brevard county takes the Space program for granite. I love it! As a child/young man I dreamed of being an astronaut. Now I pilot my own rocketship, A.K.A Yamaha FZ6 !!!
