Booth Babe
Hey guys,
Not really a question, unless anyone has any better ideas.
I finally put everything back together after a winter of new parts and patience. The clip ons I threw on are farther forward and lower than the stock bars, and thus my clutch cable is getting in the way of tilting my headlight (VS01) back for adjustment. So my pretty new HID projector is blinding ants.
My plan is to attach a couple of these to the mounting holes on the headlight (one on each side near the middle of the light) - and then bolt them onto the little subframe that came with the kit. Then another on the adjustment stay down at the bottom. This should bring it out an inch or two and give room for the clutch cable between the top of the headlight assembly and the gauges, where it's currently binding. Thoughts on that attachment?
The other thing - my throttle cables are binding on full lock (to clutch side) because they're bending more than they should. They're fine and snap right back when the bars are straight and even mostly turned, it only happens on full lock. Do you think this is a big problem? (It'll probably get better when I move the headlight forward).
