I carry a plug kit and a mini bicycle tire pump. So far only had to use it once. And ya, it takes some serious pumping to get that 180/55 tire to 37 psi!

This looks like a good option but I'll keep my manual unit on board!

The last few pounds is hardly the issue and 50mi on a low tire is worth the effort. A majority of the runs here are deep in the woods so limping out vs pumping up is worth the effort.

this would be nice to have. cost is approx $60 although probably worth it if you have to use it once or twice. I carry CO2 cartridges now and only used that once. one cartridge puts only a minimal amount of air in the tire but it did get me home 2 miles the day I used it.
