moto slang

we also care about protection, but we haven't any word aobut it
we say: just idiot or organs' donor

in Poland, pepole, especially old women, say about motorcyclists organs'donor
because thay hear loud engine and on tv some idiots.. motorcyclists must work hard on good reputation
and when is an accident, it is always riders fault in their opinion :(

Squid - person not wearing enough protective gear

Rice burner - Japanese/Chinese bike

Temporary Australian - someone riding like an idiot who won't be on this planet for long

Wan*er - an Accountant/etc who only rides on Sunday with a shiny new HD, brand new HD leather jacket/vest, matt black open faced helmet, designer sunglasses and brand new shiny leather "biker" boots - effectively a try hard bikie with designer clothing........

"Can I give you a bunky?" - would you like to be my pillion passenger

The list goes on and on. I'm sure the other Aussies have much better ones.

Bucket - helmet

Road Rash/Hamburger - what happens when your skin slides on asphalt, very painful

A Hardly - Any cruiser, because it's "hardly" a Harley.

Bitch Seat - passenger seat, mainly used by Harley riders.

Turtle F***ing - when your passenger's helmet and yours bump together.

This is a term that my friend and i use. I just think its funny.

Busa life, a lifestyle that permits the riding of a stretched or lowered busa or liter bike down a main street in mesh shorts, t-shirt and a chrome peanut shell helmet.

hello Kazza, thx :)

Wan*er You mean Waxer - A motorcycle owner who is more likely to spend time washing and waxing his bike than actually riding it.

and why You don't write all letter in Wan*er? Wht should it be there? is it swear word?

and what exactly mean BUNKY?
I noticed that You have expressions on passenger seat.. we just say technical terms not in a slang word, I must invent one hehe:)

hi Justin
thx

can You explain me what BUSA mean?

it is Hayabusa?

Can't think of too many here...

Boney = bike
Lummie = leather jacket

There are a few in Afrikaans that don't translate too well.

Hello:)
thx

yes it hard to translate slang into another language, because sometimes it is senseless and don't express it exactly
from what language You translate? Afrikaans English?

hey
thx

what does it mean twisties?

Twisties: A road that turns from side to side :
Twisties430.jpg

or:

A bag of chips:

Usa

As a side note, here in the USA, I've never heard anyone use the term pillion before.

Actually, when I first joined internet motorcycle forums back in the early 2000's, I had to do a search and see what pillion meant....
