More Video!

Okay I know that many of you have winterized your bikes and are putting them up for winter. I also realize that some of you are posing as human beings but are in fact, 'Polar Bears', snickering as you add those studs to your tires for the icy conditions!

In the mean time here's a little SoCal love and warmth to keep our FZ6 forum family in the riding mix no matter what the weather. You folks down under also enjoy as it's going to be a nice riding season in your hemisphere.

In the very beginning you'll see 'Westogoingzax' (Alex) from our forum and yours truly in the foreground.

The video was taken 2 Sundays ago.

It was a short notice call from the night before from SoCal Riders Group on Yahoo.com
Called Alex cuz I know he's close and always on short call.

We met and blasted from Greenfield Mobile off Rte 8 and headed toward Jamul through a lot of back roads I've never been on before. Japatul Valley, Dohesa, Cameron's Corner until Jamul and on to 8 south till we picked up S2 heading northward across the Anza Borrego desert to 78 then east on 78 to Yaqui Pass to Borrego Springs. Lunched then headed up Montezuma and home. I could easily have ridden into the night but had to get home.

:rockon: Westgoingzax rode his butt off. :rockon: He was blasting! We had some higher speeds going :spank: and rode a good amount of miles that day.

I'll ping you guys the next time we go which could even be this weekend. Unless it raining these guys are always on a mission and they seem to be a pretty responsible group. Like minded in the sense of ATGATT Keep in mind most of these guys are riding Busa's and liter bikes so you have to be 'Workin those Angels!' Haha The FZ6's represented especially in the twisties.

We're in that season now so remember the road temps are down so that means reduced stickiness. Give tires extra time and be as smooth as possible.

I've been experimenting with different locations with the GoPro. That suction cup even works on the bottom of the pods but I still always use a safety string. Wouldn't mind having the new HD model....Hmmmm....

He is a Mad Man! Well, I know he scraped his pegs. We were on a mission a couple of times. Those Busa's and big bore bikes would pull away in the straights and I would close the gap. Looked at my speedo and it said "Holy Crap!" :spank:

Just scrapped some peg. NcCoder and the liter bikes were blasting through those rodes! I did my fastest riding so far on that trip. When I've ridden Palomar or Banner, I'm in third gear because the turns are so tight. But this route had a lot of sweepers (as you can tell from the video) so I could get some speed going.
