Lost my temper on the way home

Well , I was on my way home from work this afternoon and my usual route was blocked for some reason, I could see flashing lights but don't know what was going on..I had to be home by 4:15pm so my wife could go to work.
So, as I was only 20mtrs from a road that would take me to another main road I crawled down the pushbike lane at about 5kph,watching the traffic in case someone wanted to turn left,when I saw this white Holden moving over into the lane and the girl in the passenger side watching me out the back window,bit sus I thought.
When I got closer the car sped up and tried to force me into the curb !Second time in a month on the same bit of road this has happened and I lost it .I got between him and the curb and let fly with my right boot,she screamed and he jumped back into the lane he was in originally and I left a size 10 Rossi boot sized dent in the door.Proceeded to my intersection and turned left ,lol.
Anyways I know I was doing the wrong thing by being in the bike lane , but that don't give him the right to try and knock me off , but expecting a call from the police any time now .............rant complete , flame away :spank:

Believe it or not, just the other day, this dude was pulling out of a parking lot turning left onto a six lane street, 3 lanes in each direction in a 45mph zone. I saw him ahead of time on my right, as I was travelling in the center lane. I was approaching he pulled out but then he saw me and stopped in the middle of the first lane as I was just about to use my horn. I still gave him the wave...................the dude was on a yellow sportsbike.

mate, that just sucks...understand your anger completely....and what did they expect, for you just to take being punted off the road...my response would of been similar i reckon.

Dont reckon you will get a call from the cops, as it's your word against theirs, and chances are they wont be able to come up with a credible witness anyway!

Might stop the ferals from doing it again though....bit like the fred gassit cartoon where he kicks the mirror off, saying, if you aint using it, you wont be needing it!

Anyway, you could always say the boot was self defense against a blatantly aggressive & intentional act of dangerous driving.

Have a couple of Coopers finest and try and relax.

wow, glad you made it out okay. I have had similar issues, and though there was no permanent damage, I'll bet carbon-fiber knuckles make a pretty loud noise on a window....

I hope your boot is not scuffed mate after they drove into your foot whilst you were coasting in the cycle lane when your bike misfired and you had to get over for safety reasons?

Ok, so you were in the pushbike lane, but that doesn't give them the right to knock you off of the road. I can understand your being upset with yourself for losing your temper, but what other choice did you have at the moment? Kick the car, or be knocked off of the road: I would kick the car every time. The dent would be a constant reminder for them to pay attention to what the he!! they are doing while driving. :spank:

The thing was I think they did it on purpose,the traffic was backed up and I could get through and they couldn't.Probably a jealousy thing.I saw them watching me and wait till I was almost there before they moved across.

My hat goes off to you my friend. They are not the police, and they have no right to put your welfare and/or life in danger. Some cagers are a very jelous breed. They dont like for us to have the luxery of avoiding traffic jams and things of that nature.
