I know this isn't going to win me friends, I am also sure that I am not the only one that thinks this.

Some of the user signatures being posted are getting out of hand.

Wolfman... your signature is longer than the height of my screen, and it is in every post you make. A bit OTT don't you think?

I'm kind of with Andz -- not anyone in particular and not this forum in particular.

I've seen signatures that are animated JPEGs -- some annoying and some downright distracting and some where you can't stop looking at them (the r6-forum has many in this category).

In my case, I've just learned to ignore .

You can disable the display of signatures under:
User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options

Makes the pages load faster, too. :thumbup:

I changed my signature yesterday to have a mod on each line!, well at least i tried to keep to one a line...and yes, it is ridiculous! Lol! But then, so is the amount of money i have spent on my bike...and i felt like revelling in it for a day or two...

But i will go change mine now....might even cut out the really boring stuff like Ohlins Suspension, etc, etc...

Anyway, if that is the sum of people's day, that my extra long sig bothers them, then you have had a great day!

Keep smiling people, it makes the world a much nicer place!

OK I tried to be diplomatic about it.

I don't care how much you spent on your mods, or how narcissistic you want to be by bragging about it.

It is annoying and detracts from the thread itself cos you scroll down past all the crap at the bottom of each post and can miss relevant information.

I didn't know I could turn it off but I am going to, right now.

I did not know you can turn of the display of signatures, even though I'm OK with them. Either way, I reduced the font size on mine.

I find it helpful to know what other riders are using or have done to their bikes. One of the reasons for this community is to share experiences, knowledge and to show off our bikes. On top, it gives you an idea of the "investment" :thumbup:

When I use my iPhone to check the forum on the go, I use tapatalk and signatures won't be displayed.
