hey guys I am new to the bike scene bought my first bike 2 weeks ago and just wondering if its normal to have a light miss fire when reving the bike whilst stationary, it seems to be at most rpm I was thinking about buying a carb sync from Morgans and carrying out most maintainence myself, just want to know if thats normal?????

Cheers

Please explain what you are experiencing, what you may think is a "misfire" might be something completely different and harmless

A true misfire would be caused by bad plugs or bad coils, not throttlebodies.

DO buy the morgan carbtune though, excellent product and easy to use.

ok, when I rev up the engine and hold it a say 4000k there is a slight miss, you can hear the engine miss like its not firing on one cylinder say every couple of revolutions. maybe I can put a link in to a vid, its not invasive when you ride it I just noticed as I was setting the idle and reving it up and holding it. I just want to know if its normal. What i am trying to say is it could be holding the revs cleaner without any hiccups. Does that make scene???

Cheers

It sounds like your throttlebodies are slightly out of sync.
Without hearing it for myself I can't really say much else.
