I am still waiting for my work bench (was supposed to be delivered by Sears a week ago!), and I plan on re-doing the floor, but everything else is pretty much done! Now I am ready to work on my track bike... just need to get it... hehe

Let's see your garages!

not really funny wavex.. I dont have a garage :(.. and shouldnt you have cars in your instead of a little lounge in your garage ??? looks good man. hope the new house is treating you well..

i could take a pic of my basement..

The garage looks like a clean bedroom. The floor is fine. The smoke area (where the couch and the coffee table is) is awesome. I wish my garage was that organized; currently it resembles yours from the first pictures on top.

Cheers.

BTW, what is your preference for the track bike?

oh to have a garage!!!! trying to get the wife (Boss) let me put a roof over the side of the house so the poor bike is not out under the weather and not getting very far with that at the moment. Bike cover is taking a battering as I write Floods this weekend just gone and now snow ..............Well as close to snow as we get in Ireland anyway :D

I'm all jambed up and packed in for the winter so it's going to be a while before I revisit this thread. I suppose I could snap some OMFG shots and post them anyway!

David, that looks GREAT! Well done!!

Now that is a very nice man-cave you have there. Well done sir, I am jealous.

I rent, and my apartment doesn't include a garage so I can't work on the bike if it's raining or cold or anything other than perfect weather. Which sucks a lot. One of these day's I get fed up and buy a house.....just not ready to be tied down yet.

yes, the new house is treating us VERy well :D

I am in Southern California here, my cars are perfectly happy sitting outside in the driveway  (and who cares about cars anyway... as long as the Buell and my ass are covered, it's all that matters :D

Thanks man! The floor is not really fine... there's a huge crack in the middle (which I need to fill), and the previous coating is peeling off, creating a mess (lots of dust...), so it needs to be re-coated... Cali-Rider recommended a roll-on floor coating (not sure of the name) which I'll probably put on shortly :)

Yes, the lounge area was a must for me :D My wife call it the "man-cave"...

For the track-bike, I am looking for a used 02 or 03 CBR... but I'll take a gixxer, or kawi if the price makes sense and the bike is in OK shape... btw, if anyone hears of a good track bike deal, PM me!

I feel your pain. It's the first garage I own and I am sooo happy with it now :) My bike is covered, all my tools are organized and easily accessible, lots of storage room, a little lounge area...etc... I could almost live in there! lol

Good luck negotiating with the boss....

good luck with the ice... 80 deg around here right now lol

Cali Rider recommended a roll-on type coating, which is made especially for garages... John, if you're reading, please shoot the name of it as I don't remember...

lol about the decorations... but you are right, I am actually planning to print up a few pics of me @ the track and put them in cheap frames and up on the walls :cheer:

so you have the equivalent of a 5 car garage? nice! :D and I thought mine was huge (the garage that is) lol

Well it's night and it's cold outside here in MA so I'm not going to take a picture from the outside and I used the camera on my phone so the pictures suck and the garage is a mess...

The big boy car, back of the first bay:

Front of bay 2 with view to front of Bay 3: The rental car, till my wife's car gets fixed; my son and her were cut off, car got thrashed but they're OK

And now the Fizz, delicately balanced with a string pulling up the handlebars and 60 pounds worth of dumbbells in a box full of bubble wrap on top of three folded towels (so as to not to leave an impression on the seat) on the rear most part of the seat such that the Fizz is perfectly balanced on the center stand with no pressure on either the front or rear wheel. Just call me McGruber:

Great Job! Looks fantastic...bikers wet dream! Dont have a garage, i have an Office, that doubles as my Garage, all work on my bike gets done in the open air, under my Carport....is very well lit with 300w of Halogen lighting, and i do have hoists, race stands, adjustable height work stool, with tool tray, etc, etc...But would love a lockable garage, so i that i did not have to lug my tools from my office to the carport, everytime i wanted to work on, or clean my bike...which is almost daily.

Will post some pics of my "set up" once i clean it all up.

Thanks for posting the pics...i'm off to clean!

Its just a little one car garage.I found that no spitting on the sidewalk sign at a flea market. It was a real city of shreveport sign! they repealed the law in the early 60's i was told.
