LED Strip lights as running lights + blinkers

Just an FYI, Wal-Mart carries self adhesive LED light strips (15") for $15. Bought some to mount as a running light for my 950's trunk.

I see what is essentially the same product at bike shops for $29.

I also wired them in to be running lights as well as blinkers using the attached pdf diagram. I now have my flushmount blinkers constant on but blink with the flasher module, and the led strips are constant on blinking as well. I figured the whole "pod light" thing was overdone, so I went my own route.

So, couple of questions...

1) Is the last diagram the one that has both the strip and the flush mount as constant on and blinker?

2) I assume the 87 slot on the relay is for the right signals/pods?

3) 87A is still the + terminal for the right as well? I can splice into that for the right side signal/pod?

Sorry, I suck with wiring....

First off, you need one relay per side.

1) yes the last diagram is for blinkers and pod lights both constant on and blinking.

2) 87 slot is not used in 3rd diagram

3) 87a is positive for both pod and signal for one side or the other. Again, two relays will be wired. One per side.

edit: just realized that I had said "pod lights are overdone" LOL and I just swapped my LED strips for LED pods when I installed my projectors.

Times they are a changing.
